Self-onboarding is an amazing feature that helps new hires through the process of completing their W-4(s), Direct Deposit and I-9 forms all online!
Furthermore, it can be customized to collect employee signatures via esign as well as scheduled, recurring employee acknowledgments of company policy.
Setup Onboarding
- Login to Employer’s EOG
- Select HR > Onboarding > Onboarding Setup
- On “Onboarding Settings” tab select “Edit”
- Select steps
- “Welcome”
- Set notification to company admin
- Select “Email”
- “Direct Deposit”
- “Withholding”
- Set “Required”
- “I9 Form”
- Set “Required”
- “Confirmation”
- Set notification to company admin
- Select “Email”
- Select “Save”
- “Welcome”
- Select “Documents”
- Select “Upload”
- Input document name (required)
- Set Category = Onboarding
- If eSign required, select “eSign…”
- Select “Save”
- Select “OK”
- Select “Edit”
- Priority determines order with multiple docs
- Set function if needed
- Instructions: add instructions for onboarding user.
- Notification: set if necessary
- Email: Check to send email when step complete if necessary
- Select “Welcome Message” tab

- Change %%companyname%% to company name
- Select “Save”

- Navigate to file
- Select “Open”

Once Employee Self-Onboarding is set-up, the business can begin to invite prospective employees to the self-onboarding process.
