Purpose and Overview:
This post will familiarize you with the time clock interface, using the time clock, viewing your past time clock “punch” details and fixing a missed “punch.”
Using the time clock helps you keep track of your hours, breaks and lunches, it also helps your employer streamline frustrating and time-consuming time-tracking tasks.
Using the time clock is your responsibility. We’ve tried to make the interface easy and understandable; we’ve provided support materials (like this post) but, in the end, we’re all counting on you to correctly use the time clock to help us all be successful.
To Access the Time Clock:
You can access the time clock from within the same “MyGO” application you use to view your paystubs and W2s as well as manage your employee profile within the payroll system.
If you have not yet registered for “MyGO” access, please ask your employer to contact their Ludt Payroll account executive to request access.
Time Clock Tour:
The "Time Clock" tile:
The “Time clock” tile displays the current date and time as well as your “punch status”
Punch status could be:
- Clocked In
- Break
- Lunch
- Clocked Out
- No Clock Transactions
Operating the “Time clock” is EASY!
- When you begin work each day, you’ll select “Clock In”
- When you take a break, you’ll select “Break”
- When you return from break, you’ll select “Clock In” again
- When you take a lunch, you’ll select “Lunch”
- When you return from lunch, you’ll select “Clock In” again
- When you end work for the day, you’ll select “Clock Out”
- The trick is to remember to use “Clock In” at the beginning of the day AND when you return from your break or lunch -- if you fail to “Clock In” again you will have a missed “punch” – a missed “punch” will interfere with your payroll’s processing.
