With the ACA came Employer Shared Responsibility Provisions. These provisions require certain employers to offer affordable health insurance that meets a minimum value to full-time employees or potentially make an 'employer shared responsibly payment' to the IRS. This is sometimes referred to as the ‘pay or play’ provision.
Not all employers are required to follow the Employer Shared Responsibility Provisions. It is only for applicable large employers. The ACA section of ACA OnDemand contains the tools and analytics to determine ALE Status and to monitor plan affordability through the established IRS safe harbors.

- Affordability Tracking: Determine if the benefit coverage is affordable.
