Maintenance (preventing account closure)
Oregon periodically purges user accounts from the employer portal.
Oregon will send employers and email with the subject line "Oregon Employer Services Portal -- Notice of intent to CLOSE Employer account" from the OESP@doj.state.or.us email address. The email states:
To keep your account open, you must:
• Log into our website before your account is closed. To do this, go to the Oregon Employer Services Portal at
https://employerportal.
• Type in your User ID and Password in the appropriate fields
If you do not remember your User ID and/or password, you can click the link above and select:
• “Forgot your User ID?” to receive an email with your User ID
• “Forgot your Password?” and take steps to reset your password
Oregon Employer Services Portal allows Users, based on their role type to electronically:
• Report newly hired or rehired employees
• Report terminations of employees with child/medical support obligations
• Send child support payments withheld from employees to the Oregon Child Support Program
• Receive and respond to Income Withholding Orders and National Medical Support Notices
• Update company information such as health insurance availability or address/contact changes

Setting Up Bank Account
Employer will need to enter the business's bank account information on the website.
- Go to Bank Account
- Click on Manage Bank Accounts
- Follow steps to enter the business's bank account information
Note: Verification of the bank account will take 3 business days to complete. You will be notified by email when your account is approved.
Setting up third party access
Enabling third party access to the Oregon Child Support employer portal will allow Ludt Payroll to make child support garnishment deposits on behalf of your business.
To set-up third party access to the Oregon Child Support employer portal:
- Login to https://employerportal.oregonchildsupport.gov
- Select the "Third Parties" menu on the left side of the page
- Select the "Manage Third Party Companies" link
- Select "Request New Third Party" button
- For FEIN, enter 81-2853468
- Select the "Submit" button
- Follow the process through completion
